Abstract : By using a plane wave expansion method, some important parameters of designing the hollow-core fibre with cobweb cladding structure are analysed. Taking a dielectric material PMMA, for example, the tolerance of the parameters is discussed. The results show that the parameters of the structure possess oneself of a egularity and limit, and have a larger tolerance for the structural parameters in fabrication.
