Abstract : Electrochemical deposition were carried out using silver nitrate (AgNO3 ), with Lang-muir monolayer at the interface of solution. Pattern formation was studied as a function of applied voltage and surface pressure. We found four different growth forms in this system. A transition from ordered dendritic crystals to disordered ramified patterns is found when the applied voltage increases most strikingly, from dendritic crystal to disordered ramified patterns, a dense two-dimensional silver film with fractal clearance is obtained.
