Abstract: By using the Hardy-Wright-Möbius inverse formula, we have improved the Carlsson-Gelatt-Ehrenreich scheme for the inverse problem of cohesive energy. The advantage of the new method is that the inverse formula are in a sense independent of the geometries of lattices.
