Abstract： Explicit computation for the Kaup-Kupershmidt (KK) equation shows that there exists an abundant symmetry structure of the KK hierarchy. The recursion operator, inverse recursion operator and the symmetries all can be expressed explicitly by the pseudopotential of the KK equation.
