Abstract: We report some experimental results which confirm the theoretical analysis of the tuning feature of a reditron oscillator. Here, we produce high power microwave at 10 GHz, and the tuning range of the reditron is 8-13.32 GHz which is controlled by changing both the voltage and the anode-to-cathode separation. We also report a measurement method of the anode-to-cathode distance.
