Abstract ： Using triaxial-particle-rotor model, the γ-transition energies, kinematic and dynamic moments of inertia and the transition quadrupole moments for π [660 1/2] band in 163 Lu are calculated and compared with the observed data. The results prove that this band is a superdeformed triaxial band.
