U(5)--O(6) Phase Transition in the SD-Pair Shell Model

Abstract U(5)-O(6) transitional behaviour in the SD-pair shell model is studied. The results show that the U(5)-O(6) transitional patterns of the interacting boson model can be reproduced in the SD-pair shell model approximately.
