Correction of the Directional Correlation of Oriented Nuclei for Detector Efficiency

Abstract Correction of the directional correlation of oriented nuclei for detector efficiency has been investigated by using in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic method. The result indicates that this correction is quite necessary for the low-energy γ-rays. On the basis of the corrected directional correlation of oriented nuclei ratios the spin assignment of the new rotational band for 170Hf was yielded.
