Abstract In the frame of quantum defect theory, the state-testate dielectronic recombination rate coefficients of Fe25+ ion are calculated by a simple relativistic configuration interaction method. The calculated results are further expressed with a two-parameter fitting formula, and then the dependence of fitting parameters on radiative decay final channel is studied.
