Conjecture on the Time Scales of Intramolecular Dynamics and Lyapunov Relaxation

Abstract A dynamical study of intramolecular energy transfer in a realistic polyatomic model molecular system is reported. From the present study and dynamical information established in the previous research we make the conjecture that the Lyapunov rate is always an upper bound on the relaxation rate.
