Quantum Radiative Correction on the Mass of Electron in a Cavity

Abstract When an electron is moving through a cavity, its mass is modified due to the boundary effect on the virtual photon. The shift of self energy is calculated at the one loop level by means of Plana formula to yield analytical result.
