Linear Modes Around a Polaron in Quasi-One-Dimensional Bridged Mixed-Valence Platinum Compounds

Abstract Linear modes around a polaron in the quasi-one-dimensional halogen-bridged mixed-valence platinum compounds is studied using quasi-harmonic approx-imation. The additional modes, i. e., so-called localized mode and localized bending mode are calculated numerically.
