XU Bowei
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 1-3 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (31KB) ( 379 )
The manifestly SO(4.2) invariant equation of second rank anti-symmetric tensor field is got in 6-dimensional space with subsidiary conditions. These equations lead naturelly to conformally covariant field equation that we obtained in Minkowski space.

ZHANG Chengteng, XU Junshan, GUO Zhendi, YANG Fujia*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 4-7 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (52KB) ( 452 )
The projectile energy dependence of K-shell ionization probability have been measured across the narrow 5gesonance 2.522Mev with large ratio of Uk/Γ = 5.3 in the reaction 56Fe(p, p ) 56Fe . The frame work of the theory proposed by Blair and Anholt was introduced to analyze the results.

LIU Qin, SUN Taoheng
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 8-11 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 352 )
This paper reports the measurements of a new kind laser-induced collisional energy transfer ionization process in a K-Na vapour mixture. Theoretical analysis has been done by calculating the collision cross - section so different transfer processes as a function of detuning.
EXCITED STATE STIMULATED RAMAN SCATTERING FROM SODIUM VAPOR
WANG Shumin, QIAN Shi xiong, LI Yufen
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 12-15 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (44KB) ( 532 )
Under the near resonant radiation field-atom interaction in Na vapor, large population difference between 32P1/2 and 32P3/2 states was generated, then occurred the excited state stimulated Raman Scattering (ESSRS). By the sequential four-wave mixing (FWM)process, multi-line ESSRS and the buffer gas effect have been observed. A theory has been developed to explain the experimental results.

REFLECTION AND REFRACTION OF ACOUSTIC FAST COMPRESSIONAL WAVES AT INTERFACE OF A POROUS MEDIUM
WANG Yaojun, YIN Huiming
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 16-19 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (42KB) ( 402 )
The problems of reflection and refraction when a compressional wave in porous medium is obliquely incident upon an interface between the porous medium and fluid are discussed. Numerical calculations for the amplitude ratios of the reflected and refracted waves to the incident one in a water-saturated porous structure of sintered glass beads are given.
DYNAMICAL LOW ENERGY ELECTRON DIFFRACTION ANALYSIS FOR Cs/GRAPHITE(0001)-(√3X√3 ) R30°SURFACE
HU Zipu, LI Jia, WU Naijuan
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 20-23 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (53KB) ( 409 )
A model incorporating (Cs-A-ABAB) stacking with Cs atoms chemisorbed in hollow sites 2.70A above the top graphite plane and the two top graphite layers shear-shifted to AA stacking and expanded to a separation of 3.85A is the most reliable structure for Cs/graphite( 0001)- (√3 X√3) surfaces. The coexisting diffraction pattern including the diffraction ring and another set of (√3 X√3 ) diffraction pattern which has a 30°rotation angle with respect to the normal (√3 X√3 ) R30°diffraction pattern could be explained. We consider.this structure to be in a pre-intercalation state.
CRYSTAL DEFECTS IN TlBaCaCuO SUPERCONDUCTOR
DING Shiying, YU Zheng, CHEN Jun, HU Meisheng
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 24-27 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (130KB) ( 444 )
Crystal defects, such as grain boundary, dislocation, stacking disorder, phase boundary and surface of granule were examined by high resolution electron microscope (HREM) in superconducting T12Ba2Ca2Cu3Ox. Some possible effects of the defects on the sample's properties viz., Jc and Tc are discussed.
NMR STUDIES ON THE ICOSAHEDRAL PHASE IN Al-Cu-Li ALLOYS
MENG Qingan, CAO Qijuan, HUANG Zhaorong, CHEN Xishen
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 28-30 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (33KB) ( 467 )
The NMR investigation on the stable T2 phase of Al-Cu-Li alloys as an interesting icosahedral phase is reported . 7Li NMR spectra and spin-lattice relaxation time at a magnetic field of 2.114T at several temperatures for samples of T2 phase and, for comparison, also of R phase and another typical A1-Li alloy were observed. The Li ions are situated firmly in the lattice sires with higher local symmetry in T2 and R phases.
EXTENDED STATES IN A ONE-DIMENSIONAL DISORDERED SYSTEM
TAN Weichao
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 31-34 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (33KB) ( 451 )
A one-dimensional system with only off-diagonal disorder in which the absolute values of all the off-diagonal matrix elements are equal to a constant is studied with the renormalization group decimation method. It proves that all the eigenstates in the system are extended, regardless of the probability of the off-diagonal matrix elements being positive(or negative).

RESONANT FLUORESCENCE LINE NARROWING IN La1-xNdxP5O14 GLASS
ZHANG He Yi, ZHAO Liang, LIU Yanbin*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 35-38 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (55KB) ( 339 )
The absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra of La1-xNdxP5O14(LNPP) glass were studied. The fluorescence from the level of interest 4F3/2(1) state shows an exponential decay and linear concentration quenching. Time resolved fluorescence line narrowing was observed for LNPP glass with different x values. For high x value LNPP glass, energy transfer between Nd3+ ions intraline was observed at low temperature.

Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 39-42 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (84KB) ( 462 )
The structural transition process of the superconducting phase in Bi1-xPbxSrCaCu2Oy (x=0, 0.2 ) samples has been Investigated at temperatures ranging from -190°C to 800°C by means of electron diffraction . Two structural phase transitions have been found at the temperatures about 310°C and 490°C respectively for the BiSrCa2Oy sample, and about 310°C and 470°C for the Bi0.8 Pb0.2 SrCa2Oy sample. After these transitions a new structural phase forms.
COSMICAL WAVE FUNCTION FOR THE COUPLING SCALARS FIELD IN THE THEORY OF KALUZA-KLEIN
SHEN Yougen
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (1): 43-46 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (37KB) ( 633 )
Recently the "ground state" proposal for the wave function of the universe was of much interest , which incorporates the idea that the universe must come from nothing. In this paper we will discuss the quantum Kaluza-klein cosmology with coupling scalars field. We also give the Wheeler-Deritt equation and calculate the wave function of universe by using the Hartle—Hawking prescription.
