FINITE TEMPERATURE GREEN FUNCTIONS OF FERMON SYSTEMSBY STOCHASTIC QUANTIZATION
CHEN Ren
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 241-244 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (45KB) ( 486 )
The finite temperature Green functions of the fermion systems was calculated by using the stochastic quantization method. By properly approximation of the Langevin equations, Hartree-Fock, ring and ladder approximations of Green functions was obtained.
THREE-LOOP BETA-FUNCTIONS FOR THE BOSONIC NON-LINEAR SIGMA MODEL WITH A WESS-ZUMINO-WITTEN TERM
ZHANG Lin
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 245-248 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (48KB) ( 498 )
We present the details of an explicit calculation of UV divergences upto three loops of the two-dimensional non-linear sigma model with a Wess-Zumino-Wittcn term and compute a low-energy effective action relevant for string scattering amplitude.
NEW SEMI-CLASSICAL TREATMENT OF THE SKYRME MODEL
ZHENG Shian
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 249-252 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (45KB) ( 359 )
A new quantum mechanical approximation of the SU(2) Skyrme model is obtained out of the field quantization. Upon the assumption for the zero point energy, the experimental value of Fπ can be adopted to compute the static properties of the baryons in a consistent way. The delta appears as a "quasisoliton", and the predictions of μp, μn and gA get a considerable improvement.
NUCLEAR HEXADECAPOLE SPLITTINGS UNDER OCTAHEDRAL SYMMETRY:OFF DIAGONAL TERM EFFECTS
MAO Xian
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 253-256 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (43KB) ( 460 )
Nuclear hezadecapole splittings of I = 2, 5/2, 3 ... 5 nuclei under octahedral symmetry are derived. The off diagonal terms of nuclear hexadecapole Hamiltonian play significant role in nuclear spin energy level splittings. When off diagonal terms are considered, there will be higher degree of energy level degeneracy than diagonal term-only approximation. All results are checked by group theory.
Ni ION INDUCED X-RAY EMISSION
XIA Zonghuang, LU Xiting, YAO Shude, WANG Demin, LIU Jiarui*, ZHU Peiran*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 257-260 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (60KB) ( 488 )
The thick targets of Ti, Fe, Ni and Zn have been bombarded with 3 to 7MeV nickel ions. The X-ray spectra of the projectiles and targets showed a significant difference in the intensity of the X-ray radiation for several targets. The explanation of this phenomenon by quasimolecular orbital energy level correlation diagrams and the possible application of Ni ion induced X-ray emission were discussed.
DOUBLE PEAK STRUCTURE OF Ols IN PHOTOEMISSION SPECTRA OF Bi-Sr-Ca-O HIGH-Tc SUPERCONDUCTORS
LIU Zhenxiang, XIE Kan, WU Naijuan, SHEN Dianhong, LIN Zhangda
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 261-264 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (56KB) ( 537 )
The double peak structure of Ols in photoemission spectra of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconductor is studied by XPS, and compared with that of SrCO3. The result indicates that the double peak structure of Ols, spectra is closely related with the Sr3d and Cls, spectra, and arises primarily from the SrCO3-like complex caused by the contamination of CO2 in air.
OVERTONE EXCITATION THROUGH FERMI INTERACTION
XIANG Tianxiang
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 265-268 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (48KB) ( 336 )
A new mechanism for overtone excitation processes through Fermi interaction has been proposed. The model was applied to the overtone transition of H2O from V2 = 0 to V2=2, and the title process was found to be dominant one. The numerical result is in good agreement with the experimental observation. Several important aspects are briefly discussed.

GROWTH-RING-SHAPED DOMAIN AND OPTICAL PATTERNS IN LITHIUM NIOBATE-TANTULATE CRYSTAL
ZHANG Jiguo, MENG Xianlin, XU Bingchao, LU Chengxue*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 269-272 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (104KB) ( 543 )
Cutting Lithium Niobate Tantulate (LTN) crystal vertically to z axis, we found that on z section there exists concentric cyclic structure similar to the annual rings of tree. When fine focused beams passed through the polydomain or monodomain etched crystal along z axis, optical patterns will emerge on z section. The cause of forming optical patterns is discussed.

THE POWER-LAW BEHAVIOUR OF AC RESPONSE OF INTERFACE: A FRACTAL TIME STOCHASTIC PROCESS
YU Wenhai, DING Yi
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 273-276 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (42KB) ( 438 )
A fractal time stochastic process of ion's motion in the interface is proposed. The model can result in the universal power-law characteristics of interface.
OBSERVATION OF ANISOTROPIC MICROWAVE ABSORPTION IN Y-Ba-Cu-O FILM
HE Zhenhui, JIN Tongzheng, HOU Bihui, QI Zhenzhong, ZHANG Qirui
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 277-279 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (43KB) ( 376 )
The anisotropic, field-dependent microwave absorption was observed in YBa-Cu-O oriented film. The hysteresis of absorption is explained by the flux trapping effect. The origin of the absorption has been discussed.

ZHANG Nan, JIANG Minhua, YUAN Duorong, XU Dong, TAO Xutang
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (6): 280-283 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 967 )
Tri-allylthiourea cadmium chloride (ATCC), an organometallic complex, is a new nonlinear optical material with high second harmonic generation (SHG) effect. Transparant single crystal of 30x30x25mm has been grown. Comprehensive studies of crystal growth, structure and general properties have been carried out. The results show that organometallic complexes are promising nonlinear optical materials for wide applications.
