V. D. Ivashchuk, V. N. Melnikov
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 97-100 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (38KB) ( 445 )
We prove that Gibbons-Maeda reduction of two-component cosmology to the Toda lattice can not be generalyzed for n-component case.
MASSIVE ABELIAN GAUGE FIELD THEORY AND INTERACTION BETWEEN BARYON CHARGES AND CURRENTS
ZHAO Shucheng
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 101-104 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (39KB) ( 459 )
A renormalizable and unitary massive abelian gauge field theory is proposed. It suggests a possible existence of the interaction between baryons and currents.
QUARK PARTIAL DECONFINEMENT AND CHARGE FORM FACTOR OF 3He
SUN Ji
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 105-108 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 352 )
The assumption of indistinguishability of quarks in the region of overlapping of nucleon wave functions leads to enlargement of confining region of those quarks. The model is formulated in terms of wave functions of nucleons and quarks. An application to charge form factor of 3He is given.
RATIO OF CHARMED BARYON TO MESON IN e+e- ANNIHILATION
CHEN E-sheng, WU Qian
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 109-112 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (52KB) ( 306 )
A method to determine the value of the ratio of charmed baryon to meson in e+e- annihilation is investigated. Using the data of CLEO, HRS and MARK II groups, we obtain f ≡ Bc /Mc = 0.21 ± 0.05, 0.24 ± 0.08 and 0.33± 0.05, for √s = 5.2, 10.55 and 29GeV, respectively.
e+e- → JETS FOR MULTIPLICITY DISTRIBUTION
WANG Zhengzhi
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 113-116 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (40KB) ( 411 )
The black-body radiation model used in the present work is a statistical model of e+e- jets for hadron multiplicity particle creation. It shows that in terms of Bose-Einstein statistics, kT0 ∝ s 1/4. The average number, < nch >Q, of the charged hadrons is given by statistical theory and SU(3) group calculation.

LIQUID-GAS PHASE TRANSITION IN FIMTE NUCLEAR MATTER WITH GOGNY INTERACTION
SONG Hongqiu, ZHENG Guodong, SU Rukeng
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 117-120 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 363 )
Method of finite temperature real time Green's function with normal pair cutoff (NPC) approximation is applied to study liquid-gas phase transition in finite nuclear matter with the Gogny D1 effective interaction. It is found that the critical temperature decreases as the size of nuclear matter reduces or the asymmetric parameter increases.

FINE-STRUCTURE OF EXCITED ATOMIC IONS ALONG POTASSIUM ISOELECTRONIC SEQUENCE
YANG Li, LIU Lei, LI Jiaming
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 121-124 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (70KB) ( 421 )
To perform theoretical calculations of electronic structures of high Z atomic ions, one has to consider the configuration mixings due to excitations and rearrangements of the core and valence electron orbitals with the same principal quantum number. We present a method to examine systematically such configuration mixings along isoelectronic sequences. As an illustrative example, such configuration mixings give rise to a reversed fine-structure splitting of 42F5/2,7/2 states for atomic ions with Z≈ 36 along the potassium isoelectronic sequence; while the 5F, 6F, and 7F have normal fine-structure splittings.
PHOTOEMISSION STUDIES OF Pd/D SYSTEM WITH HIGH DEUTERIUM CONTENT
LIU Zhenxiang, XIE Kan, QI Shangxue, CAO Jianming, LI Nan, YU Xingnan, LIN Zhangda
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 125-128 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (46KB) ( 467 )
The ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) spectra of Pd/D system (including absorption at high pressure) with various D contents were measured. The D absorption induced a new peak centered at about 6eV below Ef, which seems to derive from the hybridized states of deuterium and Pd electronic states. Its intensity increases with D content; only part of the D atoms in the Pd lattice are ionized at high D content.
DEEP DONOR LEVELS IN Te-DOPED GaAsP ALLOY
ZHANG Wenqing, HUANG Qisheng, KANG Junyong
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 129-132 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (52KB) ( 449 )
Deep donor levels in Te-doped GaAs1-xPx for a large range of compositions have been studied by deep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS). Three kinds of deep levels A, B, and C were observed. Only level A appears in all the samples; it is considered that level A is originated from DX centers. No any regularity of presentation for levels B and C was able to find. Their properties are probably more complicated.
PREPARATION OF HIGH Tc Pb-DOPED Bi-BASED SUPERCONDUCTING AMORPHOUS SOLID
CHEN Meiling, LI Xiaoge, WANG Keyi, LI Shuzhen, XU Shihong, WU Chengjiu, TANG Hongao
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 133-136 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (75KB) ( 475 )
The Pb-doped Bi-based amorphous solid has been prepared by the anvil quenching method from the melt. After annealing, we obtained the dense superconductor with onset and zero resistance temperature at 120K and 107K, respectively. X-ray powder diffraction ( XRD ) and selected area electron diffract ion ( SAED ) analysis show that there is mainly high Tc phase (2223 phase) in the sample, and scanning electron microscopy ( SEM ) observation of the surface of the sample reveals that the needle-like grain abound in sample. Energy dispersive analysis of X-ray ( EDAX ) indicates that the average composition of grains is Bi2Pb0.3Sr1.3Ca1.7 Cu2.3 Oδ
POSSIBLE HIGH A1 SUBSTITUTION IN THE T1-Ba-Ca-Cu-O SUPERCONDUCTING SYSTEM
MENG Xianren, LIN Mingzhu, TANG Weihua, REN Yanru, LIN Zhenjin, TU Qingyun, SANG Lihua, LIU Zhenxing*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 137-139 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (42KB) ( 476 )
The A1 substitution in the T1-Ba-Ca-Cu-O superconducting system was studied. Up to 70% of Tl can be substituted by Al, without significant reduction of Tc. X-ray diffraction indicates partial A1 substitution does not alter the crystal structure of the 2223 phase. Excessive A1 formed Al-Cu alloy and unidentified phases, which gradually destroyed the superconductivity.
SEGREGATION EFFECT ON SURFACE COMPOSITION IN ALLOY SPUTTERING
ZHENG Liping, LI Risheng, LI Mingyao, CUI Fuzhai
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1990, 7 (3): 140-142 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (53KB) ( 764 )
The modified dynamic TCIS (Transport and atomic Collision cascade of energetic Ions an Solids) Monte Carlo program including the radiation-enhanced Gibbsian segregation (REGS) is employed to estimate the compositional distributions at surface of the Au0.56Cu0.44 alloy under 2keV Ar+ ion bombardment at high dose. The calculation results exhibit that the Au composition enriches in the first layer (74 at.%), depletes in the second layer (37 at.%) and gradually rises with depth to the bulk composition. The effect of the relation between sputter depth and segregation layer on the surface concentration of Au0.56Cu0.44 is also discussed.
